Enterprise Account Manager
HealthEx | Full-time | Remote (US)
About HealthEx
HealthEx is building the infrastructure layer for consumer-permissioned health data - the "Plaid for health records." As a TEFCA Individual Access Services (IAS) provider, we enable individuals to share their health records with the apps, platforms, and AI tools they choose, unlocking a new category of patient-centric digital health products. Backed by General Catalyst and headquartered in San Francisco, we are growing fast and looking for commercial talent who can execute at pace.
Role Overview
As Enterprise Account Manager, you will own the post-sale relationship for HealthEx's most strategic accounts - from initial implementation through renewal and expansion. You will be the primary point of contact for enterprise customers, responsible for delivering high-quality onboarding experiences, driving product adoption, and ensuring customers realize measurable value from the HealthEx platform. You are also a key commercial contributor, carrying a combined renewal and expansion quota and partnering closely with Business Development on new opportunities.
This role sits at the intersection of implementation, customer success, and commercial operations. You will work hands-on with customer teams during configuration and launch, then transition seamlessly into a long-term strategic relationship. You will report directly to the CCO.
What You'll Do
Implementation Ownership
Lead end-to-end onboarding and configuration for new enterprise accounts, serving as the primary project owner from contract signature through go-live.
Coordinate cross-functional HealthEx teams - product, engineering, and support - to deliver deployments on time and to spec.
Get hands-on with platform configuration, working directly with customer technical and operational teams to resolve integration questions and ensure a smooth launch.
Develop and maintain implementation playbooks that can be standardized and scaled as the customer base grows.
Account Leadership
Own customer relationships from go-live through renewal, serving as the single point of accountability for account health and outcomes.
Drive product adoption and measurable value realization, helping customers articulate ROI internally and build the case for expansion.
Proactively identify risks to retention and address them before they become renewal conversations.
Lead business reviews with senior stakeholders at customer organizations, presenting performance data and roadmap alignment.
Commercial Contribution
Carry a combined quota covering renewals and net expansion ARR within your book of business.
Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities, working with the BD team to scope and close expansion deals.
Partner with Business Development on new enterprise opportunities - providing implementation scoping, operational requirements, and customer reference support through deal close.
Customer Advocacy and Operational Excellence
Serve as the voice of the customer internally, translating account feedback into actionable input for Product and Operations.
Surface patterns across accounts to help prioritize roadmap investments and identify systemic process gaps.
Drive internal GTM process improvements that increase efficiency across the implementation and customer success motion.
Support strategic cross-functional initiatives as HealthEx scales its commercial operations.
Who You Are
Proven Account Owner: You have 4-6+ years of experience in enterprise account management, customer success, or implementation roles at a B2B SaaS or health technology company, with a track record of retaining and growing a strategic book of business.
Implementation-Ready: You are comfortable getting hands-on during customer onboarding and configuration. You do not need to write code, but you are not intimidated by technical conversations and can hold your own with customer product and engineering teams.
Commercially Oriented: You think beyond retention. You spot expansion opportunities, build relationships with economic buyers, and know how to move an upsell through a customer organization.
Healthcare Fluent: You understand how enterprise healthcare organizations evaluate and adopt technology, and you are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments involving clinical, technical, and compliance teams.
Operationally Sharp: You bring structure to ambiguity. You document processes, maintain clean account data, and approach implementation and success work with the rigor of a project manager and the instincts of a relationship builder.
AI-Forward: You actively adopt new tools and workflows - AI, automation, or otherwise - to work more effectively. You look for ways to scale your impact, not just manage your workload.
Clear Communicator: You can translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and business context for technical teams, and you do both with confidence.
